The analyst processes purchase orders quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment, serves stakeholders well and works as part of a team to meet performance targets.
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities for C-class items
- Handle the end-to-end purchasing cycle: PR to PO, sending POs to suppliers, PO confirmation, delivery follow-up and supplier payment coordination
- Coordinate with vendors on the delivery status of material
- Complete the Open Purchase Order Report and Shortage Report on time for review
- Handle pull-in, push-out and cancellations per the MRP report and meet KPI targets
- Maintain inventory at the optimum level for site requirements
- Coordinate PO changes with internal requestors and suppliers
- Manage the supplier database
- Manage shortage and excess escalations
- Follow through on urgent receipts and past dues, and resolve receiving challenges
Requirements
- Education: Diploma, B.Com, BBA, B.Sc or MBA
- Experience: 0–2 years in procurement or supply chain (not mandatory)
- Skills: Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint (required)
