How we check job listings
Job boards are only useful if the jobs are real, current and honest about what they are. Here is exactly how Hirecept handles that, including the limits.
Where jobs come from
Most listings are read from the public job feeds and application systems that employers and job networks publish themselves, including Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and SmartRecruiters boards, plus remote-work job feeds and job aggregators. Hirecept never charges candidates.
Every job links to the employer's own application page. We show you the posting and our notes on it, and you apply on the employer's site.
How we keep listings fresh
Feeds are re-read on a schedule. A listing that disappears from its source is marked expired and stops appearing in search and in our sitemap. Listings older than 60 days are treated as stale and removed from the live board even if the source still shows them.
Expired listings keep their page for a short period so a saved link does not break, but they are marked as expired and kept out of search results.
The same role often appears on several sources. We try to keep one copy, but duplicates can slip through. If you see one, tell us.
How quick openings are written
Quick openings are chosen by hand. For each one we open the employer's posting, check that the apply link works and is on the employer's own site, and write a short summary of the role, who it suits and what to prepare. A quick opening is a summary and a pointer. The employer's posting remains the source of truth for requirements and pay.
What we do not do
We do not ask candidates for money, deposits or bank details, and we will never tell you a job requires one. We do not guarantee interviews or offers. We do not edit an employer's requirements to make a role look better.
We cannot independently confirm every employer's hiring decisions. A listing being on Hirecept means it was published by a recognised source and passed our checks for working links and freshness. It is not an endorsement.
Spotted a problem?
Every job page has a "Report a problem with this listing" link. Use it for expired roles, broken apply links, duplicates, wrong details, or anything that looks like a scam. We review every report, and listings that turn out to be wrong or fraudulent are removed. You can also write to [email protected].
