Key Responsibilities & Day‑to‑Day Impact
- Design, develop, and test Python components for data preparation, document‑processing pipelines, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) modules, prompts, scripts, and APIs.
- Validate and document solutions, maintaining clear code, test results, and setup details.
- Rapidly learn AMETEK’s tools, coding standards, and engineering workflows.
- Explore emerging AI tools, share insights, and apply best practices.
- Collaborate with the Technical Lead – AI and business‑unit engineers to gather requirements, conduct user testing, and iterate based on feedback.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security, export‑control, and IP governance.
- Provide regular progress updates and flag blockers early.
