Job Description
Start date Monday 11/9/26 . Targeted pay scale of $19 to $28 per hour depending on skills. Until the project is completed, the role is set out to be Monday through Friday from 6 am to 4:30 pm (50 hours per week) with the possibility of additional overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform wiring of Switchgear, Switchboards and ATS’s.
- Proficiently read wiring diagrams and work independently to complete assignments.
- Wire electronics such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s)
- Assembly electrical switchboard equipment
- Perform assigned functions from oral and/or written instructions, drawings, or other manufacturing.
- Maintain quality standards by inspecting and testing finished products to ensure conformance with specifications and codes.
- Maintain expected progress of jobs in area of assignment and communicate problem areas or parts shortages.
- Exhibit teamwork in all you do, maintaining a positive and team-based attitude. Support peers in time of high demand by working hours assigned and overtime as required; also comply with scheduled start/stop times and break periods for the facility.
- Perform other functions as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to interact and contribute to a team environment and ability to flex according to production demands.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in all written and verbal formats (speech, writing, reading)
- Ability to follow manufacturing drawings and instructions.
- Keep yourself and teammates aware of health and safety practices and activities by actively observing fellow employee work practices and incorporating safety.
- Actively participate in health and safety training and demonstrate competency based on training received.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 45lbs at times.
- Must wear safety gear, such as goggles and gloves, when handling box cutters or similar tools.
- Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
