About the role

A leading consumer products company is launching a new division and is seeking a Trade Marketing & Visual Merchandising Manager to help build its retail presence from the ground up. This is an opportunity to play a key role in a new division — shaping how brands show up in-store, driving retail excellence, and ensuring high-quality execution across retail locations.

Overview

Ensure the successful rollout of new brand point-of-sale materials (POSM), including soft and semi-personalization, by driving retail excellence and high-quality execution, while supporting the merchandising and visual strategy for the division.

Key Responsibilities

Merchandising

  • Build the Category / Brand retail strategy in line with division and brand objectives and priorities
  • Manage Category / Brand POSM end-to-end — from budget, retro-planning, and supplier brief, through production and shipping, to follow-up and reporting

Visuals

  • Manage Category / Brand visuals and videos end-to-end — from budget, retro-planning, and supplier brief, through printing and shipping, to follow-up and reporting

Planograms and Guidelines

  • Create how-to documents to guide field managers and in-store teams in implementing the new retail expression
  • Create planograms for all capex configurations

Data Management

  • Maintain, update, and optimize merchandising databases
  • Follow up on POSM / visual stock
  • Manage store attribution — assign POSM and visual productions to individual locations

Retail Excellence

  • Gather pictures and feedback from the field to enhance retail excellence in top locations
  • Build strong relationships with field teams and suppliers to ensure a smooth rollout

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in visual merchandising, trade marketing, retail activation, shopper marketing, or in-store marketing
  • Consumer products, retail, specialty retail, wholesale, or distributor channel experience preferred
  • Hands-on experience managing POSM / point-of-sale materials, in-store visuals, and planograms
  • Strong end-to-end project management skills — budgets, timelines / retro-planning, supplier briefs, production, shipping, and reporting
  • Comfort working with data, databases, stock tracking, and reporting
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple brands, projects, and deadlines at once
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with field teams, cross-functional partners, and external suppliers
  • A practical, execution-focused mindset — someone who enjoys seeing a brand come to life in-store
