About the role

Our firm is representing a top tier technology consulting organization seeking a skilled Technology Business Management Analyst to join their federal practice in Northern Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for a data driven professional to enhance IT cost transparency and optimize financial spend for a major government client.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex data sets and improving organizational IT planning. You will work closely with data owners to ensure information accuracy, transform data from various systems of record, and create executive level communication materials. Your role will involve rationalizing data from general ledgers, asset managers, and service repositories to drive actionable insights for management.

To be considered for this role, you must possess an active Secret security clearance and be a US citizen. We are looking for candidates with at least three years of professional experience in IT services or financial management, specifically involving budgeting, cost allocations, or program portfolio management. You must hold a bachelor degree from an accredited university and be located in the Washington DC metropolitan area to facilitate periodic onsite work.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience with TBM frameworks and advanced proficiency in data transformation tools such as Apptio, Alteryx, Proven Optics, or expert level Excel. A background in ITIL or service management is highly desirable, as is a strong understanding of infrastructure domains like cloud environments, networking, and application development.

This position involves minimal travel, typically under ten percent. Our client provides a robust compensation package including competitive base salary, potential performance bonuses, and a full suite of benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and a 401k retirement plan. They also offer unique perks including student loan repayment assistance, tuition reimbursement, and professional certification support.

If you are a curious and persistent problem solver who enjoys working with large datasets to improve organizational efficiency, we encourage you to apply.
