We focus on real estate tax, tax planning for high-net-worth individuals, partnership taxation, international tax and outsourced CFO services. Our team works across the U.S. and India, which lets us give clients both technical depth and fast turnaround. We’re growing, and we’re looking for a Tax Advisor in the Richmond area who wants real ownership of client work without the bureaucracy of a large firm.

- Review first-pass preparation from our offshore team, give clear feedback and sign off on quality
- Carry out tax planning projects such as quarterly estimates, entity structure analysis and year-end projections for high-net-worth and business-owner clients
- Act as a point of contact for assigned clients: answer questions, gather information and explain results in plain language
- Research technical issues and write short memos on positions taken
- Respond to IRS and state notices
- Meet Richmond-area clients in person from time to time
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on tax preparation and review experience in public accounting
- Strong working knowledge of partnership and S corp taxation (basis, K-1s, allocations)
- Comfort reviewing someone else’s work and giving direct, constructive feedback
- Experience with professional tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, UltraTax, Lacerte or similar)
- Strong written communication and the ability to explain tax concepts to clients
- A self-directed, organized way of working remotely, with reliable availability during business hours (ET)
- Based in or near Richmond, VA

- Exposure to international filings (5471, 5472, 8865, FBAR)
- Experience working with offshore or distributed teams
Compensation & Benefits
- $35–$40/hour, depending on experience and credentials
- Fully remote, flexible scheduling outside peak deadlines
- CPE support
- Room to grow as the firm expands
