About the role

FEQ327R438

As a Sr. Partner Solutions Architect specializing in Customer Lake and Lakewatch, you are an expert-level technical leader responsible for accelerating platform adoption and scaling growth across our strategic partner ecosystem (SIs, GSIs, ISVs, and Cloud Providers). You serve as the definitive technical authority and trusted advisor for partner technical practices, empowering them to architect, position, and deploy enterprise solutions built on our Customer Lake platform, while leveraging Lakewatch for data quality and system monitoring. Operating at the intersection of deep technical leadership, partner enablement, and strategic executive influence, you serve as a force multiplier across your region and partner channel.

The Impact You Will Have

  • Scale Partner Practice Growth: Train and enable partner technical teams (SIs, GSIs, ISVs) to build repeatable, high-value practices around Customer Lake and Lakewatch
  • Drive Partner-Led Platform Consumption: Co-architect complex partner solutions that accelerate customer adoption, deployment velocity, and platform usage across Customer Lake environments
  • Expand Lakewatch Observability: Guide partner engineering teams on deploying Lakewatch to deliver automated data quality monitoring and health telemetry across customer implementations
  • Advise Partner Leadership: Act as a trusted technical advisor to partner CTOs, Chief Architects, and Practice Leads, aligning their technology roadmaps with Customer Lake and Lakewatch innovations
  • Build Reusable Blueprints: Develop enablement kits, reference architectures, and deployment blueprints that simplify partner integration and rollout
  • Orchestrate Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate across internal Field Engineering, Product, and Partner Management teams to deliver unified partner GTM initiatives

What We Look For

  • 8+ years in solutions architecture, partner technical management, principal engineering, or senior customer-/partner-facing technical pre-sales roles
  • Proven track record working with system integrators (SIs/GSIs), cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), or strategic technology partners (ISVs)
  • Expert-level coding proficiency — Python, SQL, and ideally Spark/PySpark. You will complete a live coding assessment and a platform build during the interview
  • Deep expertise in enterprise data architecture: distributed systems, real-time/streaming, Customer Lake design patterns, data governance frameworks, and cloud-native platforms
  • Deep knowledge of data observability, automated data quality, and platform telemetry using Lakewatch or equivalent monitoring tools
  • Expert-level Databricks Platform knowledge (or equivalent depth in competing platforms with demonstrated rapid learning ability)
  • Declared technical specialization with recognized depth — e.g., real-time architectures, ML/AI platforms, data governance, large-scale migrations, or industry-specific solutions
  • Proven track record of driving consumption growth and platform adoption in large accounts
  • Executive presence — ability to influence VPs, Practice Directors, and C-level stakeholders on long-term data and AI strategy
  • Experience leading competitive displacements and complex enterprise evaluations
  • Strong strategic thinking — connecting technical architecture decisions to business outcomes and revenue impact
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience); advanced degrees are valued

Nice to Have

  • Databricks certifications
  • Prior experience at Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Google, Microsoft, or a top-tier data/AI company
  • Published thought leadership (blogs, conference talks, open source contributions)
  • Industry vertical expertise with executive-level domain credibility
