About the role
Immediate need for a talented Solution Architect Specialist. This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in McLean, VA (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $85 - $90/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Introduce the overall technical vision for solutions by defining and establishing solution architecture.
- Collaborate with Business Architects, CPOs, and other partners to define high-level solution intent and target state architectures.
- Create reference architectures and design patterns to ensure consistent implementation of architecture roadmaps.
- Drive the development and maintenance of detailed solution intent and product architecture across various viewpoints.
- Identify solution alternatives and new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Leverage Generative AI and AI/ML capabilities to improve business capabilities.
- Participate in deployment activities and incident resolution processes to ensure successful implementation.
- Develop and maintain an application design pattern catalog for reusability
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on solution architecture and business application development.
- Extensive experience in solution architecture patterns such as microservices and cloud-native architectures.
- Prior software development background with hands-on architectural experience.
- 5 years of relevant task management experience.
- Experience in leading architects through organizational transformations.
- Knowledge of Generative AI and its application in solving business problems.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred.
- Prior experience in the primary or secondary mortgage industry is desirable.
- Deep knowledge of various enterprise-level platforms widely used in the industry is preferred.
