Job Title: Software Engineer, Product Engineering

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Remote

The Role

We're looking for a Full-Stack Engineer who enjoys building things from scratch, taking ownership, and moving fast.

Ideally, you've been part of a small engineering team at a fast-growing startup, helping build and scale products as the company evolved through different stages of growth.

You'll work on the internal tools, services, and workflows that power our operations, products, and AI-driven infrastructure.

What You'll Own

  1. Build and scale full-stack applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
  2. Own features and systems end-to-end, from architecture to production.
  3. Develop reliable backend services, APIs, and performant frontend interfaces.
  4. Design and optimize databases, data models, and queries.
  5. Work closely with product, operations, and design to turn ideas into working solutions.
  6. Improve platform reliability, performance, and developer experience.
  7. Make practical technical decisions while balancing speed, quality, and scalability.
  8. Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve existing systems.

What We're Looking For

  1. 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  2. Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js across the full stack.
  3. Experience as an early member of an engineering team, helping a startup grow and scale over time.
  4. A track record of building and scaling products in high-growth startup environments.
  5. AI-native mindset: You actively use AI coding tools (like Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) as part of your daily workflow and know how to get the most out of them.
  6. Experience taking products from idea to production and adapting systems as the business grows.
  7. Solid experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
  8. Experience with REST APIs, cloud platforms (AWS or similar), and modern backend architectures.
  9. Comfortable working with ambiguity, making decisions independently, and taking ownership of your work.
  10. A hands-on, problem-solving mindset with a bias toward shipping.

Nice to Have

  1. Experience with NestJS, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, or DevOps.
  2. Experience building internal tools, developer platforms, or workflow automation.
  3. Exposure to AI-powered or data-heavy products.
  4. Experience improving architecture and engineering processes as a startup scales.
  5. Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and system reliability.
