About the role
Di An Di is a Vietnamese-American restaurant and Bar with a focus on modern Vietnamese fare. We are located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and our mission is to share our passion for hospitality and create a neighborhood place where we provide attentive, genuine service and a great dining experience to our guests.
We are currently hiring experienced servers to join our FOH team. Our ideal candidate would be someone who is warm, kind, gracious and has a genuine excitement for hospitality. Open availability is preferred, but for the right candidate, a set schedule can be made.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
* Setting the dining room before service begins.
* Being responsible for ensuring guests' satisfaction.
* Greeting all guests and guiding them through the ordering process
* Performing beverage service whenever necessary.
* Announcing food and beverage droplines at the table, presentation, and table maintenance including marking flatware, and helping clear tables when necessary.
* Have a comprehensive understanding of the details of the menu.
* Study and learn both our beverage and food menus and be able to talk with guests knowledgeably and confidently about our food and beverage offerings.
* Has the understanding of the full beverage program including wine, cocktail, beer, and n/a beverage.
