About the role
Senior Software Engineer is a temporary opportunity with our client supporting UX AI enablement. This remote, in-region role builds AI-assisted prototyping tools, improves alignment with the Design System, and helps product teams adopt these workflows.
There is no application deadline for this role.
Senior Software Engineer Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain AI-assisted prototyping tools aligned with the Design System.
- Lead and contribute to projects, including initiatives with evolving requirements.
- Support peers through documentation, pull request reviews, Slack assistance, feature audits, office hours, and classes.
- Identify technical debt and propose work that advances the team.
Senior Software Engineer Qualifications:
- Strong front-end development expertise with JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and React.
- Experience creating and maintaining reusable front-end components across large product surfaces.
- Experience building or integrating AI-powered or generative AI tools for developer workflows or design systems.
- Experience writing evaluations to measure and improve AI-powered tool quality.
- Preferred: Experience building tooling such as linters, validators, or component-usage and adoption metric collectors.
