About the role
Senior Robotics Software Engineer | Chicago | Up to $180,000 + benefits
Join a growing Robotics company in Chicago, building robotics and Physical to improve speed, safety and consistency of US based construction.
As a Senior Robotics Engineer, you’ll lead the planning and autonomy architecture that lets the robots turn models into real work on site, deciding what to do, checking each step and recovering when things go wrong. You’ll also have opportunity to mentor a team of autonomy engineers while writing production code and testing on real robots every week.
This position is on-site in Chicago.
Skills/Technologies
- Experience in building autonomy, task-planning and decision making systems in robotics
- Strong Python and C++
- ROS2
- Understanding of LLMs/VLMs for robotics
- Linux, Docker and CI/CD
