Job Description
The Process Technician supports process stability, yield improvement, and equipment optimization within the post-sputter (lubrication/tape burnish/UV) module. This role works closely with Process Engineers to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve post-sputter processes. The technician plays a key role in sustaining process performance and supporting new process qualifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and maintain process control parameters
- Review and respond to SPC charts and process alarms
- Assist in root cause analysis of yield excursions and process issues
- Support design of experiments (DOE) and process trials
- Perform process qualification runs and collect data for engineering analysis
- Implement approved recipe adjustments under engineering guidance
- Document process changes and maintain process control documentation
Qualifications
Academic Qualification :
Diploma in Mechanical / IT / Automation / Electronics
Experience and Skills Required :
- Minimum 2 - 3 year's experience in process or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge on HDD media cleaning technology will be added advantage.
- Knowledge in Excel , Word & Power Point
- Good technical presentation skill.
- Good communication skill.
