About the role
About the Role
A fast-growing software company in the Dallas area has scaled from nearly $3M to $20M in revenue this year and is adding its next quarter-carrying sales executive. The team currently includes four sellers and a VP of Sales, and this hire will help build the sales motion in a company where much of the playbook is still being written. Reps are on track to earn $500K–$750K in W-2 earnings, with strong equity and a sales leader known for developing top performers.
Core Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting through close, on six- and seven-figure software deals
- Consistently meet and exceed quota in a high-growth, fast-moving environment
- Build pipeline and processes where none exist yet, selling without everything already built
- Partner closely with the VP of Sales and leadership to shape go-to-market strategy
Required Qualifications
- Based in the Dallas area
- Track record of closing six- and seven-figure software deals; software category matters less than results
- Beats quota more often than not, with numbers to back it up; multiple club trips a plus
- Experience at a growth-stage company, selling without a fully built-out playbook
- Grit, tenacity, and enough tenure to show sustained production
Compensation
Approximately $160K base / $320K OTE (flexible), plus equity.
