About the role

Senior Email Marketing Analyst

Company Overview

Our client is a national specialty retailer serving consumers and professional customers through stores, e-commerce, and a commercial sales division. The business supports a large multichannel customer base with high-volume, seasonally driven marketing activity.

Job Overview

The Senior Email Marketing Analyst is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for the strategy, execution, optimization, and analysis of high-volume email and SMS programs. This person will use segmentation, automated journeys, testing, deliverability, and performance analysis to improve customer engagement, conversion, retention, and channel revenue.

This position is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and requires at least three days onsite each week. Hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is required. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Own promotional, lifecycle, transactional, and automated email and SMS campaigns from planning and audience selection through build, quality assurance, deployment, and performance review.
  • Build and optimize customer segments, dynamic content, personalization, and triggered communications using behavioral and transactional data.
  • Create and manage automated journeys across welcome, abandoned browse, abandoned cart, post-purchase, loyalty, retention, re-engagement, and win-back programs.
  • Determine email and SMS frequency, timing, and customer cadence in coordination with merchandising and promotional calendars.
  • Develop A/B and multivariate tests across content, offers, audiences, send times, frequency, and calls to action, then apply the findings to future campaigns.
  • Monitor conversion, revenue, engagement, unsubscribe, deliverability, list-health, and retention metrics while maintaining campaign accuracy and compliance.
  • Diagnose performance changes, identify the underlying business drivers, and present clear recommendations to Digital Commerce, Merchandising, Creative, CRM, Analytics, and IT partners.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience managing campaign deployment, customer segments, automated journeys, testing, and reporting is required.
  • Experience supporting high-volume B2C email programs is required, with five or more years of email marketing experience preferred.
  • Experience within retail or e-commerce is preferred, although comparable high-volume consumer businesses will be considered.
  • Strong experience with lifecycle marketing, audience segmentation, behavioral targeting, dynamic content, personalization, and triggered communications.
  • Ability to interpret channel performance and recommend actions that improve conversion, retention, engagement, and revenue.
  • Knowledge of email deliverability, list hygiene, sender reputation, consent management, CAN-SPAM, and TCPA requirements.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, email QA tools, web analytics, and reporting platforms is preferred.
