  • Prepare examples of decisions you drove, how you measured the result, and how you worked with other teams.

  • Read what Mod Op publishes about its product or team, so you can say clearly why this role and this company.
  • For remote roles, show that you communicate clearly in writing and can work without close supervision.

Apply only on Mod Op's own site. A genuine employer never asks candidates for money, deposits or bank details to apply, interview or “secure” a job. If something looks wrong, use Report a problem with this listing and we will review it. Read how we check listings.

The Senior Account Manager serves as “mission control”; leads the proactivity of the account, drives client initiatives and leads account logistics. The Senior Account Manager sets priorities and ensures deadlines are met while taking into account other brand-team deadlines within the agency. This role manages multiple projects and brands, leads productions big and small, and is a key point of contact for the client. The Senior Account Manager partners with counterparts across departments to complete tasks and find solutions, and sets a tone of partnership and professionalism with clients and the account team.

Essential Functions

  • Serve as a key client contact across assigned programs, setting a tone of partnership and professionalism while driving proactive strategic and tactical initiatives within the broader account direction.
  • Identify and recommend business-building ideas; contribute to strategic plans, workstream budgets, compensation models, and timelines.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness using key metrics and recommend opportunities for optimization.
  • Lead account logistics across assigned projects, productions, billing, and organization; manage timelines, status meetings, documents, recaps, and next steps.
  • Coordinate production projects of varying sizes, align internal teams and client inputs and approvals, and prepare briefs and production documents so work moves efficiently and deadlines are met.
  • Manage campaign deliverables, proofing, quality assurance, outgoing creative, and trafficking as needed; prepare client presentations and follow-up materials, attend meetings, and liaise with partner agencies as required.
  • Manage assigned financial processes, including opening and tracking jobs, maintaining billing sheets, preparing invoices, following up on payments, and tracking purchase orders.
  • Support junior team members and interns through clear guidance and process coaching; set an encouraging tone for team briefings and share relevant industry updates.

Required Education and Experience

  • Typically 4–8 years of related agency or client marketing experience; experience range is a guide, not a minimum.

  • Well-rounded experience managing multiple marketing communications disciplines and projects.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, listening, negotiation, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities, budgets, timelines, and multiple client or brand workstreams.
