Position Description – this Midwest Region Sales Supervisor position is located at the Evergreen regional sales office in Oak Brook, Illinois.
Job responsibilities include:
- Oversee the Midwest Region Export Sales team covering a 13-state territory with a high volume of accounts and annual lifting and revenue targets.
- Monitor and drive KPI achievement, implement sales initiatives, and promote services.
- Hire, train and manage performance of sales representatives and staff.
- Assign workload, provide guidance and problem-solving support.
- Prepare and submit KPI performance reports, sales results, account development updates, and other management reports.
- Monitor territory performance, account activity, and lifting results.
- Manage a portfolio of export accounts, including Top JOC 100 Export Accounts, and develop strategies to increase customer engagement and cargo volume.
- Lead customer visits, sales calls, and account development activities.
- Coordinate closely with Headquarters, customers, sales representatives, and internal departments regarding sales activities, customer issues, and business development.
- Support issue resolution, and cross-functional communication to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications – The successful candidate must have sales/account management experience in International Shipping or Logistics. Sales Supervisor experience is preferred. The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the Shipping or Logistics fields is required. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
Compensation/Benefits – the starting salary is $100,000 - $108,000 depending on qualifications.
