About the role
Job Description
Job Description
We’re partnering with an established organization that is continuing to build out its Product function and is looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead products and experiences across policy lifecycle management, billing, payments, and related operational workflows.
This person will help modernize complex, highly regulated processes and create simpler experiences for customers, partners, and internal teams. The role combines product strategy, customer experience, workflow transformation, and digital modernization, with ownership from early discovery through delivery and ongoing optimization.
What You’ll Do- Set the direction and roadmap for products supporting policy administration, billing, payments, and other lifecycle-related experiences.
- Modernize complex workflows, forms, communications, and digital tools while ensuring regulatory and operational requirements are maintained.
- Help create a more connected experience for users managing multiple policies, billing information, payments, and policy-related actions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline manual or fragmented processes and move toward simpler, more intuitive digital experiences.
- Turn customer insights, journey work, operational pain points, and business needs into clear product priorities.
- Guide products from early discovery through delivery, launch, measurement, and continued improvement.
- Partner closely with technology, UX, operations, compliance, and business teams to deliver new capabilities.
- Lead working sessions that map current processes, uncover friction, and define better future-state experiences.
- Use customer feedback, operational data, and product performance to prioritize enhancements and measure success.
- Bring cross-functional stakeholders together to navigate competing priorities, regulatory considerations, and product decisions.
- Strong Product Management experience with ownership of complex digital, operational, or customer-facing products.
- Hands-on knowledge of policy lifecycle management, billing, invoicing, customer payments, commissions, regulated forms, or similar operational processes.
- Experience simplifying complex workflows while working within regulatory, compliance, or policy constraints.
- Proven success taking products from initial discovery through delivery and optimization.
- Strong understanding of customer experience practices such as journey mapping, personas, service design, and user research.
- Ability to look across systems, processes, and user touchpoints and identify where an experience can be simplified or modernized.
- Strong facilitation skills and experience working across technology, operations, design, compliance, and business teams.
- Experience working in an Agile product environment and partnering directly with technical delivery teams.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
- Experience within insurance, healthcare, financial services, or another highly regulated environment.
- Background supporting policy administration, billing operations, digital payments, or other complex lifecycle platforms.
- Experience with process improvement, digital transformation, or change management.
- Familiarity with AI, automation, and other technologies that can improve operational workflows.
This role goes beyond managing features and a backlog. The organization is rethinking how customers and internal teams navigate complex policy and billing experiences, with an emphasis on making those interactions easier without losing the controls required in a highly regulated business.
It’s a strong opportunity for a Product Manager who enjoys taking complicated, process-heavy experiences and figuring out how to make them simpler, more connected, and more digital.
