About the role
Product Definition Engineer – Mechanical Design (Aerospace)
Jupiter, FL or East Hartford, CT | Full-Time | Onsite
U.S. Citizenship Required (ITAR Compliance)
SALARY: 65-75k USD
We’re hiring a Product Definition Engineer to join our aerospace engineering team. If you have a background in mechanical design and are looking to grow your career in a hands-on, fast-paced environment, this is a great opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Support the design and development of aerospace components and systems
- Create 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using Siemens NX
- Manage product data and documentation through Teamcenter
- Ensure all drawings meet industry standards and design intent
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support project goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design and drafting
- Proficiency in NX and Teamcenter
- Familiarity with GD&T and engineering drawing practices
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience with turbomachinery (gas turbines, steam turbines)
- Prior work in the aerospace industry
