Job Description
A top-performing commercial bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager for their well-established Healthcare Finance group. This candidate will be in the Chicago office.
This role is responsible for underwriting, credit monitoring, and portfolio management. Primary responsibilities include analyzing financial data to determine the merits of loan requests, recommending structure, as well as identifying cross selling/referring opportunities of other services.
- Ongoing monitoring of credit/covenant compliance
- Analyze and create financial loan memorandums to generate new loans and modifications

- Dedicated, experienced healthcare team that understands the nuances of the healthcare services industry including the regulatory environment, third party pay, and legislative matters.
- Banking and corporate finance experience working with healthcare services business, private equity sponsors, family offices, and healthcare-focused real estate owners and operators.
- As an innovative institution, they are nimble and prioritize responsiveness and on-time execution.
EXPERIENCE:
-Direct portfolio management, and underwriting experience
-Strong Credit background
-Working knowledge of ABL revolvers -borrowing bases, field exams, and collateral monitoring
