JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Y-MD- Profession: Physician Specialty: Surgery Cardiothoracic Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Lebanon, PA Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Jan 15, 2027 Apr 16, 2027 Clinical Shift Schedule: Friday 12pm Monday 7am (24-hour call) On-Call Shift Schedule: Friday 12pm Monday 7am (24-hour call) PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults (18+) Rounding: Included Case Mix: Cardiac surgery, urgent cases FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: EPIC Specialty Backup Available: Surgeon backup available Support Staff Available: PA/NPs: 1 (APP) PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 60 days JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active PA license or Universal License (IMLC) Board: BC/BE in Cardiac Surgery DEA: Required Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide 24-hour call coverage from Friday 12pm to Monday 7am. Perform urgent cardiac surgeries, including cases from cath lab. Manage post-operative patients in ICU and discharge to home. Provide backup consultation for surgical cases. Collaborate with APP support staff.
