About the Opportunity
Our client is a rapidly growing fintech and business lending company that helps entrepreneurs, independent contractors, gig workers, and small businesses access funding through innovative technology and alternative underwriting models.
The company is experiencing significant growth and is investing heavily in customer acquisition, digital marketing, and expansion into new products and markets. As a result, they are seeking a highly analytical and hands-on Performance Marketing Manager to take ownership of paid acquisition strategy, improve marketing efficiency, and help scale customer growth.
This is an opportunity to step into a high-visibility role with direct exposure to executive leadership and the ability to influence both marketing strategy and business performance. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist and operator, with a deep understanding of paid media, conversion optimization, attribution, and performance analytics.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own and optimize paid acquisition efforts across Google Ads, Meta, and other digital channels.
- Develop data-driven strategies to scale lead generation while maintaining profitable acquisition costs.
- Evaluate existing campaigns and identify opportunities to improve targeting, bidding strategies, creative performance, and conversion rates.
- Analyze the complete customer journey, from lead generation through funded customers, and implement improvements throughout the funnel.
- Collaborate closely with leadership, product, engineering, analytics, and risk management teams to improve acquisition quality and performance.
- Leverage attribution data, dashboards, CRM insights, and marketing automation tools to make informed decisions.
- Improve landing pages, lead nurturing workflows, and conversion paths.
- Support SEO initiatives and identify new growth opportunities beyond traditional paid channels.
- Build processes, reporting frameworks, and scalable acquisition strategies capable of supporting aggressive business growth.
- Gradually transition performance marketing ownership from an external agency to an in-house function.
What We're Looking For
- Proven success managing and optimizing paid media campaigns with a strong focus on measurable business outcomes.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Google Ads and Meta Ads.
- Strong understanding of customer acquisition, conversion rate optimization, attribution, and marketing analytics.
- Experience managing meaningful advertising budgets and scaling spend while maintaining efficiency.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with technical, product, analytics, and leadership teams.
- Experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation, conversion tracking, and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
- Highly accountable, resourceful, and excited by the opportunity to build and improve processes.
