About the role
We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with a New Product Development Engineer search in the Cleveland, OH area.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electromechanical products from initial concept through production.
- Research emerging technologies, materials, and design approaches to support product development and continuous improvement.
- Build prototypes, conduct feasibility studies, and perform product testing and validation.
- Create engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical documentation.
- Ensure products meet customer requirements, industry standards, and applicable regulatory requirements, including UL, CSA, CE, and RoHS.
Key Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
- Experience in product design, product development, or a related field.
- Ability to create and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
