Manufacturing Technician

Manufacturing Technician Details:
- Contract to Hire position
- $ 22.00 to $ 26.00 / hour
- First Shift
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, LOTO protocols, and electrical safety standards.
- Assemble control panels and subassemblies using engineering drawings, schematics, and layout documentation.
- Install electrical components, including DIN rails, terminal blocks, relays, circuit breakers, and PLC hardware.
- Perform wire cutting, stripping, crimping, labeling, routing, and terminations according to company standards.
- Inspect assemblies for accurate wiring, component placement, and workmanship; maintain production documentation.
- Follow approved drawings and revisions while supporting UL 508A compliance and quality requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace; collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams.
- Participate in safety training, continuous improvement initiatives, and ongoing skills development.
Manufacturing Technician Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; 6 months1 year of manufacturing, assembly, electrical, mechanical, construction, or related experience.
- Ability to safely use basic hand tools, with strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, communicate effectively in English, and work collaboratively on a team.
- Preferred experience with electrical assembly, wiring, basic schematics, assembly drawings, crimping, ferruling, and wire labeling.
- OSHA 10 certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 90 days; experience in a quality-driven manufacturing environment is a plus.
