Marketing Specialist
LW Flooring | Gainesville, Florida | Full-time, on-site
Reports to: Marketing Manager
About the role
LW Flooring is looking for a Marketing Specialist who combines strong design skills with practical website expertise and dependable follow-through. You’ll take projects from an approved brief through production, testing, and completion, creating useful marketing materials and improving the experience for our dealers and customers.
Working alongside our Marketing Manager and marketing teammates, you’ll independently handle a broad mix of website, design, email, and digital marketing work. You’ll also provide dependable technical and creative backup for critical day-to-day marketing activities.
What you'll do
- Maintain and troubleshoot WordPress pages, forms, navigation, and product content. Identify problems, investigate causes, implement appropriate fixes, and verify the results.
- Improve website usability, mobile layouts, basic accessibility, and on-page SEO. Test approved changes and document significant updates and rollback steps.
- Create original digital and print materials, including catalogs, collection and private-label graphics, labels, packaging, sales collateral, business cards, and fillable forms. Prepare accurate, production-ready files.
- Edit product photographs and create or revise room-scene imagery, checking flooring appearance, product accuracy, and output quality.
- Build and execute approved email campaigns, checking product claims, audience selections, links, and display across devices. Review results and recommend practical improvements.
- Support dealer onboarding and portal troubleshooting with Customer Service. Document issues, coordinate enhancements with our developer, and test completed changes.
- Maintain Roomvo product information, imagery, and data-feed updates, coordinating with product experts and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
- Manage day-to-day execution of approved Google Ads and Reddit campaigns within authorized budgets. Monitor spending, landing pages, tracking, and results, and flag issues promptly.
- Coordinate printers, vendors, and approved marketing partners; track deadlines, deliverables, approvals, and asset-use permissions.
- Maintain organized source files, shared project records, and usable instructions so another trained teammate can cover critical workflows.
The Marketing Manager sets strategy, priorities, and creative direction. Custom programming and SAP integrations are handled with our website developer and technical partners.
What you'll bring
- Approximately three years of relevant marketing, website, or design experience, with demonstrated hands-on website and production work.
- Strong WordPress skills, including content management, troubleshooting, and checking usability and mobile layouts.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat, including vector artwork, print preparation, and editable production files.
- Experience with email marketing and the ability to interpret basic campaign and website performance data.
- A portfolio showing your contribution to website work and print or digital design.
- Strong attention to detail, independent problem-solving, clear communication, and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Practical experience using AI tools to support research, content, design, or workflow improvements. You must verify facts and outputs, protect company information, and apply your own judgment.
Helpful experience
Divi - Wordpress, InDesign Data Merge, Mailchimp, Google Ads, Reddit Ads, GA4, Wix Studio, Roomvo, or B2B marketing. Relevant education is preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered. You do not need to be an expert in every platform.
How we work
