Scratchboard Kitchen is looking for an experienced, reliable line cook to join our team.
We are a busy, chef-driven restaurant in downtown Arlington Heights, serving seasonal, scratch-made breakfast, brunch, and dinner. Our kitchen focuses on quality ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and consistently great food.
We are primarily hiring for dinner shifts, but are also open to experienced breakfast and brunch cooks. Weekend availability is important.
What We're Looking For
Previous line cook experience in a busy restaurant
Someone dependable who arrives on time and is ready to work
Ability to work independently and keep up during busy services
Good communication and a team-oriented attitude
Attention to detail and pride in the food being served
Consistent availability, including weekends

$20–$23 per hour, depending on experience
