Seeking an Inside Sales Manager who can turn business priorities into effective daily execution. This leader will drive revenue growth, develop a capable sales team, and improve how people, technology, and processes work together to serve customers.

The role requires a hands-on manager who is equally comfortable coaching a sales conversation, evaluating performance data, improving a workflow, and guiding the use of sales technology. Success will be measured through growth in new and existing accounts, stronger team performance, and a consistently responsive customer experience.

What You Will Own

Sales Coaching and Team Development

  • Hire, onboard, and develop inside sales professionals with clear expectations for performance and customer service.
  • Make coaching a regular part of the workday through call reviews, individual feedback, skill development, and follow-up.
  • Strengthen the team’s ability to identify customer needs, communicate product value, manage opportunities, and close business.
  • Build a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning; recognize strong performance and address gaps promptly.

Technology Management

  • Manage the effective use of CRM, phone systems, reporting tools, and other technologies that support the sales operation.
  • Establish expectations for system adoption, accurate data entry, and consistent documentation of customer activity.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system configuration, reporting, integration, and automation in partnership with appropriate internal teams.
  • Translate business needs into practical technology improvements and ensure employees receive the training needed to use tools effectively.
  • Evaluate whether technology changes deliver measurable improvements in productivity, sales effectiveness, and customer responsiveness.

Process Improvement and Customer Experience

  • Review the customer journey from inquiry and quotation through order handoff to identify delays, rework, and service gaps.
  • Develop and refine workflows that improve response times, accuracy, consistency, and ease of doing business.
  • Document procedures, clarify responsibilities, and guide the team through changes.
  • Use employee feedback, customer input, and operating data to prioritize improvements and measure their impact.

Revenue Growth and Performance Management

  • Convert business objectives into actionable sales plans for customer acquisition, account expansion, and proactive outreach.
  • Establish team and individual goals supported by clear measures of activity, conversion, revenue, and service performance.
  • Analyze sales results, call activity, and CRM data to identify opportunities and direct coaching and sales efforts.
  • Conduct regular performance discussions and adjust execution as customer needs and business conditions change.

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Partner with outside sales, marketing, DC operations, purchasing, and customer service to coordinate account coverage and resolve customer issues.
  • Communicate customer insights and operational challenges to support better business decisions.
  • Ensure team activities follow company policies, pricing guidelines, and applicable compliance requirements.
