We’re currently expanding our team and seeking a skilled HVAC Installer / Maintenance Technician to help us continue delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Job Summary:
We’re looking for an experienced, motivated HVAC lead installer and helper to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone with at least 3 or more years of hands-on HVAC installing experience who is confident leading installers, performing routine maintenance, identifying system issues, and setting up upgrade and upsell opportunities for our sales technicians—installation and replacement of full systems and ductwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install all components of an HVAC system. To include an entire gas heat system, a heat pump system, ductwork, and ductless mini-split systems. Also perform routine maintenance on residential HVAC systems (tune-ups, cleanings, inspections).
- Identify equipment issues and recommend repair or replacement options.
- Communicate clearly with homeowners to explain system conditions and potential improvements.
- Set up opportunities for lead HVAC sales technicians for system upgrades and upsells.
- Ensure all work meets company standards and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, diagnostics, and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of lead installer experience as an HVAC technician (maintenance or service).
- EPA certification required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to identify sales opportunities without being pushy.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Handle a full residential installation or changeout.
- Lead a full duct renovation. To include demo, replacement, design, and balance. While protecting the customer’s home from dust and debris.
