Reports to the Founder and CEO

Build the engine that turns attention into qualified pipeline and new-client revenue, and run it without routine Founder involvement.

ABOUT US

Best Practice Institute is the research organization behind Most Loved Workplace®. We are a workplace-culture research, certification, employer-intelligence and AI-visibility company. We help CEOs, CHROs, CPOs and employer-brand leaders turn verified employee evidence into credible recognition, stronger hiring and visibility across search and AI platforms. We are entering our next stage of growth and need a hands-on marketer who builds, launches and proves results personally.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Demand generation and execution (75%)

  • Write and send two weekly emails: a thought-leadership newsletter and an educational conversion email
  • Run one editorial calendar across email, websites and social
  • Build and launch campaigns, landing pages, nurture sequences and ads in HubSpot and our other tools
  • Manage paid channels, SEO/AEO, and the qualification path from first touch to sales conversation

Client solutions (20%)

  • Deliver agreed marketing work for customers, align scope and deadlines with Customer Success, and report results to clients

Technical maintenance (5%)

  • Routine HubSpot setup, tracking, forms, integrations and reporting connections

Across the role

  • Equip Account Executives with campaigns and sales assets, and build onboarding, renewal and expansion campaigns for Customer Success
  • Build and run AI-assisted workflows, agents and prompts, with documented human-approved quality checks before anything ships
  • Own a campaign roadmap, budget and live campaign register with the Founder, Sales and Client teams

HOW SUCCESS WILL BE MEASURED

  • Marketing-sourced qualified pipeline and new-client revenue
  • Marketing-influenced renewal, upgrade and expansion revenue
  • Two consistent weekly emails and reliable content output
  • Funnel conversion by offer and traffic source, and acquisition efficiency against validated baselines
  • On-time client deliverables with evidence of improved visibility
  • Less dependence on the CEO for campaign production
  • Weekly reporting against 30-, 60- and 90-day targets. Opens, clicks and traffic are diagnostic only.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Growth or demand-gen experience in a lean B2B recurring-revenue business with a consultative sale
  • Campaigns you personally built and launched, with commercial results you can show
  • Strong positioning, conversion copywriting, email, landing page and paid campaign skills
  • Hands-on HubSpot and Semrush, plus real SEO/AEO experience
  • Experience tying marketing to pipeline and revenue, and knowing where attribution breaks down
  • Essential: working pages or workflows you built and tested in Floot, Lovable or similar tools
  • Essential: practical integration building, including fixing automations when they fail
  • Essential: advanced, hands-on use of AI processes, agents, bots and prompt engineering
  • Essential: independent content production with a documented QA process
  • Experience managing a budget in a small organization, and references from former leaders
  • Experience marketing to HR buyers is valued but not required

HOW TO APPLY

Apply through LinkedIn with your resume plus a one-page written response, uploaded as a PDF (bullets are fine). Applications without the written response will not be reviewed.

This is a player-coach role. If your results came from an agency or a team you managed, and you didn't build and launch the work yourself, this is not a fit.

Before you write, spend real time on mostlovedworkplace.com, certcheck.mostlovedworkplace.com, bestpracticeinstitute.org and visipage.ai.

  1. Two campaigns you personally delivered. For each: audience, offer, budget, your exact contribution, measurement period and results. Numbers, not adjectives.
  2. Writing sample. A link to an email, landing page or article you wrote or edited.
  3. Your stack. How you have used HubSpot, Semrush and SEO/AEO, and how you report results to clients.
  4. Something you built. A live link or short walkthrough of a content process, agent, bot or campaign tool you built yourself.
  5. Your read on us. Who is our buyer, and what is the first campaign you would launch in your first 30 days?
  6. Logistics. Location, hybrid availability, start date and compensation expectations.

Finalists complete a short paid exercise and reference checks. We read every response personally.
