About the Role
Join the early go-to-market team at an artificial intelligence company serving reinforcement learning and physical AI organizations. You will build relationships with research and robotics teams, and help turn initial conversations and pilot projects into ongoing programs.
What You'll DoMap the Bay Area reinforcement learning and robotics ecosystem, including research labs, startups, and potential buyers of training data.
Conduct outreach through email, LinkedIn, events, and warm introductions, and book meetings with research leads, data leads, and founders.
Build enough product knowledge to discuss reinforcement learning environments, evaluations, and manipulation datasets in technical conversations.
Move opportunities from initial conversations through samples and pilots to production programs, coordinating with teammates responsible for scoping and delivery.
Attend local meetups, research events, conferences, and hackathons to connect with potential customers.
Share customer feedback with product and research teams to inform their priorities.
Zero to three years of experience. Recent graduates and early-career candidates are encouraged to apply.
Evidence of initiative and drive, such as starting a project or company, contributing to sales or go-to-market work, or earning recognition in a competitive setting.
Experience with cold outreach and clear, confident writing.
Genuine interest in AI, reinforcement learning, or robotics, demonstrated through coursework, projects, research, or work experience.
Technical education in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physics, or relevant machine learning or robotics research exposure.
Sales, business development, or founder experience at an AI or deep-tech startup is beneficial, as is an existing Bay Area AI or robotics network.
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate, and able to work on-site.
On-site in San Francisco, California, United States.
