About the role
Entry Level Machine Operator
Are you looking to show off your embroidery or monogramming skill? CoWorx is hiring in Irving, TX 75063 for an entry level Machine Operator to join a team fun and talented team that takes quality checks for their clients to the next level! Shift: Day @ 5am-5pm plus mandatory OT and NIGHT @ 5pm-5am We pay for referrals!
Responsibilities:
- Complete customer orders for embroidery, engraving or monogramming
- Perform general maintenance such as applying lubrication/oil and wiping rails as required when prompted on screen
- Mount sewing machine attachments like needles, thread, pattern plates or cutting blades, and adjust machine guides according to specifications
- Monitor product quality of the sewing operation to spot problems such as defective stitching, thread breaks or machine malfunctions
- Inspect for various types of defects or damage, and mark errors as necessary
Desired Background/Skills:
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Ability to measure using a ruler for proper placement of stitching
- Ability to be cross-trained to operate different style sewing machines
- Ability to speak, read (fine print) and write in English, follow verbal and written directions, write simple correspondence and effectively communicate with others
