About the role

Data Analyst – Healthcare

Westchester (Hybrid) | $75,000–$82,000 base + annual bonus

Our client is an established, physician-led healthcare organization with clinics across multiple states. Its business increasingly runs on value-based care contracts, where quality and cost data affect how the organization is paid. That makes accurate reporting central to clinical, financial and operational decisions.

About the role

This is an individual contributor role on a small reporting and analytics team. You’ll take reporting requests from clinical, billing, finance, audit and leadership teams. You’ll write SQL to pull and combine data from several EHR systems, check that the numbers reconcile across sources, and deliver reports and Excel tools.

Much of the reporting is still manual today. An outside partner is building a new Power BI environment, and once it’s in place, you’ll maintain and extend it. Over time you’ll replace recurring manual pulls with automated reports and dashboards.

Location and schedule

Onsite Monday through Thursday, remote on Fridays.

Compensation

$75,000–$82,000 base, depending on experience. Includes an annual bonus and a 401(k) with company contribution.

Preferred qualifications

  • Healthcare reporting experience with EHR data from Epic, NextGen, athenahealth or a similar system
  • Strong hands-on SQL, ideally SQL Server, including joins, subqueries, stored procedures and views
  • Advanced Excel, including PivotTables, formulas and data manipulation
  • Hands-on Power BI experience building or maintaining reports (expert level not required)
  • Working knowledge of ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS codes in reporting logic
  • A track record of finding and fixing data discrepancies between systems
  • Experience with lab or medication data, Epic Clarity or Caboodle, or revenue cycle and claims reporting
  • Exposure to value-based care, population health or quality measure reporting
