Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of healthcare claims processing? At NSU Health, we’re looking for a dedicated Temporary Claims Analyst to join our team and play a vital role in optimizing our revenue cycle. This position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on our healthcare operations while collaborating with a dynamic team in a supportive environment.
What You'll Do:
- Investigate and Resolve Claims: Identify, analyze, and resolve claim denials and rejections. Collaborate closely with billing, coding, and financial services teams to ensure seamless claims processing.
- Optimize Revenue Cycles: Generate and analyze claims data to identify patterns, reduce denials, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.
- Communication Champion: Serves as a bridge between healthcare providers and payers, facilitating clear, effective communication.
- Ensure Compliance: Uphold healthcare regulations and company policies, keeping detailed, accurate records of claim statuses, payments, and adjustments.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: High School Diploma or GED with 6+ years in medical accounts receivable, claims processing, or medical billing, OR Associate’s Degree with 4+ years in the field OR Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years in healthcare claims and billing.
Preferred Skills: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related fields. Familiarity with claims management software and EHR systems like Epic or NextGen.
