This seat pays well because you earn it — the freight is hand-unload, and the mileage rate is high to match. If you don't mind touching freight, few OTR seats pay like this, and you're home once a week.
What you'll earn
- About $1,700 a week, roughly $88,400 a year
- $0.80 a mile to start, rising $0.01 a year to $0.85
- About 1,900 miles a week
- $15 per stop
- Paid weekly, direct deposit
Your week
OTR lanes across the Northeast. Freight is full hand-unload with load and unload assist. Home once a week — staying out through one weekend lets your planner build full miles. A dedicated planner works your production around your ability.
New driver path

Your truck
Assigned, take-home, automatic or 10-speed, about 1.5 years old, 24/7 dispatch.

Requirements
- Class A CDL in your home state, 21 or older
- New grad (120+ hours) or verifiable experience
- Acceptable driving record, no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years
- No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years
- DOT physical, hair and urine screen; able to hand-unload freight
