About the role

Business Development Director – Technology

Madison Davis is expanding its Technology practice and looking for an experienced staffing sales professional to step into a platform with real momentum behind it.

This role offers access to active client relationships, signed agreements, existing business, and an established recruiting team supporting both contract and permanent hiring. The right person will have the opportunity to work with existing relationships from the start while continuing to build a client portfolio of their own.

It is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to produce quickly, grow meaningful revenue, and take on broader sales and leadership responsibility as the Technology practice continues to scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Take ownership of existing Technology relationships and identify opportunities to expand them
  • Develop new Technology staffing clients across the New York market
  • Sell both contract staffing and permanent placement solutions
  • Build relationships with CIOs, CTOs, technology leaders, Talent Acquisition, procurement, and hiring managers
  • Expand existing accounts into additional teams, departments, and business units
  • Generate consistent job flow and partner closely with recruiting teams on delivery
  • Reengage dormant and underdeveloped accounts
  • Build a meaningful portfolio of long-term client relationships
  • Play a key role in the continued growth of the Technology practice

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in Technology staffing, recruiting, consulting, or professional services sales
  • Proven history of developing new business and growing existing accounts
  • Comfortable selling contract and permanent staffing
  • Strong client-facing presence with senior decision makers
  • Ability to turn relationships into repeat revenue
  • Commercial mindset and strong understanding of the staffing business
  • Someone who wants more upside and responsibility than a traditional individual contributor sales role

Competitive base salary, uncapped commission, existing business to work with, strong recruiting support, and meaningful leadership upside.
