About the role
If you communicate well and learn quickly, this role gives you a place to apply both from day one. No prior insurance experience is needed, and training covers everything from product knowledge to client conversations.
As a Business Development Associate, you work directly with clients and prospects to identify needs, present coverage options and build lasting relationships. Your focus is on growing a book of business through consistent outreach and strong follow-through.
What your responsibilities include:
- Reach out to prospective clients by phone and in person to introduce available benefits options and schedule consultations
- Meet with clients to review their current coverage, explain alternatives and guide them through enrollment decisions
- Manage your pipeline by tracking follow-ups, confirming appointments and maintaining accurate records in the system
- Collaborate with your team on strategy, share what you learn from client conversations and contribute to office goals
- Continue developing your product knowledge through ongoing coaching sessions and team meetings
Grow in an independent role with coaching, team support, and opportunities for greater responsibility. The skills that help you here are clear communication, organization and a genuine interest in helping people understand their options.
