Experience: 1–4+ years

Position Overview

We are seeking Financial Services Risk & Audit Analysts for an immediate consulting opportunity supporting a large, highly regulated banking and financial services organization in New York City.

This engagement is ideal for professionals with 1–4 years of experience in banking, financial services audit, risk management, internal controls, or regulatory compliance who are interested in expanding their experience in financial services consulting.

The position focuses on supporting audit, risk, controls, and compliance initiatives, including reviewing business processes, evaluating internal controls, identifying potential risks, and assisting with audit-related documentation and reporting.

This is not a traditional RCSA position. While Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) experience is beneficial, the primary focus is on financial services audit, risk, controls, and compliance activities.

Candidates MUST have prior banking experience and be immediately available to interview and start.

  • Support audit, risk management, and internal controls initiatives within a regulated banking environment, ensuring alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Review business processes, policies, procedures, and control documentation to identify operational, financial, regulatory, and compliance risks.
  • Assist with audit walkthroughs, control testing, and evaluations to identify deficiencies, assess control effectiveness, and recommend process improvements.
  • Prepare audit workpapers, risk assessments, findings summaries, and project reports while tracking remediation activities, outstanding issues, and key deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal audit, risk management, compliance, and business stakeholders to communicate findings, provide project updates, and manage multiple priorities independently.
