About the role

Hunt new business for a $25M company that’s scaling fast.

Our client is a leading commercial HVAC service company headquartered in Corona, CA. They’re a $25M business, still growing, and adding sales hunters to keep up. They need someone to win new accounts across Los Angeles and build a book that pays more every year.

The support system is already built. Service, operations and back-office teams are in place at HQ, so you can stay focused on finding and closing business.

If you’ve sold uniforms, pest control, commercial cleaning, waste or facilities services, you already know this sale. You knock doors, find the decision-maker, walk the site and sell a recurring service agreement. Here you’ll do the same thing with bigger long-term upside.

About the Company

They sell service, maintenance, retrofits and replacements directly to building owners, with no third parties in between. Their clients include national brands and specialized facilities: Chase Bank branches, PetSmart stores, assisted living communities, refrigerated warehouses and boutique grocery chains. The culture is values-driven and built around people, quality work and long-term relationships. The team is small and leadership is easy to reach.

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect and open new commercial accounts across the Los Angeles market

  • Sell HVAC preventive maintenance agreements and service contracts to building owners, property managers, facility managers and executives

  • Generate your own pipeline through cold calling, door knocking, networking and referrals

  • Walk sites with prospects and recommend long-term maintenance solutions

  • Build proposals and present to decision-makers

  • Manage your pipeline in HubSpot CRM

  • Hit and beat monthly and annual targets

  • Work with the Corona service and operations teams to onboard new customers smoothly

  • Stay close to your accounts to drive renewals and service and retrofit work

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $75,000 – $105,000

  • Uncapped commission:

    • 10% on new PM contracts. Contracts average $5,000, so each one pays you about $500. The quota is $20k a month (roughly 4 contracts).

    • 3% on PM renewals. Every contract you sell keeps paying you each year it renews.

    • 1% on service and retrofit projects from your PM accounts. These projects average $500k–$600k, so each one pays you $5,000–$6,000. They typically start coming in during Year 2 and are the biggest long-term earner in the role.

    • Ramp period included. You get time to build your pipeline before quota kicks in.

  • Company vehicle

  • Expenses covered (mileage, meals, etc.)

  • Health, dental and vision insurance

  • 401(k) with company contribution

  • Profit sharing after 2 years

  • 2 weeks PTO + paid holidays

  • Industry-leading sales and HVAC training

  • A clear career path in a company that’s scaling

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of outside B2B sales in a hunter role

  • Service-based sales background strongly preferred: uniform services, pest control, commercial cleaning, waste management, facilities or building services, construction services

  • A track record of prospecting and closing net-new business

  • Comfort with cold calling, door knocking and territory development

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Self-starter who works well independently in the field

  • CRM experience (HubSpot a plus)

  • Valid driver’s license

  • HVAC knowledge is not required. They’ll train you.
