About the role

Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies, from the world's largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups, use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

Stripe’s Enterprise segment partners with leading digital-native businesses and global enterprises to solve complex challenges and unlock new opportunities for growth. As an Enterprise Account Executive, you’ll be at the heart of these relationships, bringing together experts across Solutions Architecture, Product, Engineering and Implementation to shape impactful solutions for some of Stripe’s most ambitious customers.

What you'll do

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of Stripe’s most strategic customer relationships, from opening new opportunities and leading complex sales cycles to expanding Stripe’s impact across existing accounts. You’ll develop and execute long-term account strategies, influence senior internal and external stakeholders, align technical and commercial priorities with product teams, differentiate Stripe in competitive situations and lead sophisticated negotiations through to successful close.

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of named Enterprise accounts, setting and executing multi-year strategies to retain and expand Stripe’s relationships.
  • Build trusted partnerships with C-level executives and orchestrate meaningful engagement between customer leaders and Stripe’s senior leadership.
  • Identify whitespace, develop targeted outbound strategies and create a durable pipeline of expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Lead complex, end-to-end sales cycles, from opportunity development and solution design through commercial negotiation, close and go-live.
  • Own strategic negotiations that protect existing revenue, grow Stripe’s share of wallet, and deliver long-term value for customers.
  • Engage senior stakeholders across Product, Engineering and Finance, leading executive workshops and developing compelling business and financial cases.
  • Mobilise cross-functional teams, including Solutions Architecture, Partners, Post-Sales, Product, and Engineering, to deliver a coordinated account strategy.
  • Apply your market and customer insight to sharpen Stripe’s enterprise strategy and continuously improve how the team sells, expands and serves its largest users.

Who you are

You are a seasoned, consultative sales professional who excels at expanding strategic enterprise relationships. You can articulate value in both business and technical conversations, build credibility across complex organisations, and influence senior executives, including CTOs, COOs, and CFOs.

You understand the enterprise buyer journey and know how to lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from opportunity creation through negotiation and close. You thrive in competitive situations, develop a deep understanding of sophisticated products, and translate technical capabilities into clear business outcomes.

You are commercially rigorous and detail-oriented, with the curiosity to unpack business models, identify opportunities and help customers quantify investment decisions. You operate with autonomy, persistence and resilience while bringing together the right customer and Stripe stakeholders to deliver results.

You also enjoy building beyond your own accounts, strengthening our sales process, sharpening our value proposition and creating tools and insights that raise the performance of the broader team.

We encourage you to apply if you meet the minimum requirements for the role. Preferred qualifications are valuable, but they are not required.

  • Ability to develop and execute multi-year account plans across business units, geographies, and stakeholder groups within complex organisations.
